Executry Paralegal – Edinburgh

Valeco Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected private client law firm in Edinburgh to recruit an experienced Executry Paralegal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of testate and intestate executries

  • Calculating inheritance tax, legal rights, and preparing executry accounts

  • Completing HMRC forms and liaising with financial institutions

  • Maintaining accurate client records and providing regular updates

  • Supporting clients with empathy and professionalism during sensitive times

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in executry paralegal work

  • Law Society of Scotland Paralegal qualification (preferred)

  • Detailed knowledge of inheritance tax, legal rights, and executry procedures

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
